About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Tech Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30);
Day 4x10-Hour (09 : 00 - 19 : 30), rotating nights and weekend call required Guaranteed Hours : Not provided Experience : 2 years of Interventional Cath Lab experience with structural heart experience preferred.
License : Valid State License required Certifications : BLS (AHA), RCES, CRT, or RCIS accepted; ACLS Must-Have : - Epic experience preferred Job Description : - Follow clearly defined procedures to support cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in the execution and technical analysis of procedures performed in the Interventional Cath Lab.
- Integrate education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a cardiologist.
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their family / support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety and help deliver optimal patient care.
- May be responsible for mentoring and training students. Please ensure all certifications are AHA and in hand at time of submission.
Completion of lab work is required within 3-5 days of signing. Candidates must have been gone for 1 year to return as a traveler.
Orientation includes 16 hours of non-billable training. Note : COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine Requirements are Unknown.
