Rate : $23.00 to $27.00
Shift differential for shifts starting after 3 pm

Summary :
The Facilities Painter must be a professional painter by trade and have an eye for detail. The position is primarily for interior work.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
- Attention to detail
- Drywall repair
- Applying textures to match existing wall finishes
- Color Matching Paint and Stains
- Skilled at use with all painting equipment
- Able to work on multiple projects during a shift
- Good people skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a healthcare environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years of responsible experience in building painting.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and work orders. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret miscellaneous drawings and schematics.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense, understanding, carrying out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registration
Valid California Driver's License.
