Architect Project Manager (Licensed)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architect Project Manager to oversee the design and construction of a variety of architectural projects.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of architectural design principles, project management methodologies, and construction practices.
A valid professional license is required.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the architectural design process from initial concept through construction administration and closeout.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Review and approve architectural drawings for code compliance, constructability, and aesthetics.
- Manage client expectations and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the preparation of construction documents, including contract documents and specifications.
- Assist with the selection and negotiation of contracts with contractors and vendors.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and adherence to plans and specifications.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Manage project documentation, including correspondence, drawings, and material samples.
- Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Valid Architect license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural project management.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
