About The Position
Job Title : Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2Job Specialty : Staff AugmentationJob Duration : 52 weeksShift : Day 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM, Monday-FridayGuaranteed Hours : Not specifiedExperience : Not specifiedLicense : LISW or LPCCCertifications : Not specifiedMust-Have : Must hold an LISW or LPCC licenseJob Description : - Serve as a treatment team member, conducting advanced practice individual and group clinical interventions as prescribed in the individual mental health treatment plan.
- Utilize clinical intervention strategies within scope of practice as directed by a supervisor or mental health administrator.
- Provide clinical case management services to an assigned caseload, monitoring offender compliance with their mental health treatment plan.
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and mental health status examinations to aid interdisciplinary treatment planning.- Complete transfer and discharge summaries, Social Security Income requests, and consult with staff regarding the mental health caseload inmate's institutional adjustment and service needs.
- Initiate and maintain contact with families and community agencies as necessary and seek information related to patient care and treatment pre-incarceration.
- Make appropriate community and re-entry referrals per mental health treatment team instructions.- Document all incarcerated person encounters in the electronic healthcare record, and participate in developing discharge, release, and wellness plans.
- Complete miscellaneous forms and reports as needed according to policy and protocol; attend meetings with supervision, in-service training sessions, and workshops for professional development.
- Participate in peer reviews as assigned and update patient mental health classifications and supportive functions.
