JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President to join our Firmwide Resolution Program Management Office (PMO) in Midtown, NY, Columbus, OH or Jersey City, NJ.
The Resolution PMO team is a firmwide function responsible for designing, managing, and delivering the Firm's Resolution plans, which demonstrate how the Firm would continue to operate when faced with material financial distress or failure of the company.
Resolution Plans are required by the Firm's US and international regulators.
As a Vice President within the team, you will have the opportunity to assume a leadership role with the team, assuming ownership for key deliverables and processes within the Resolution Planning function.
You will have the opportunity to gain broad exposure to teams throughout the Firm, to engage with senior management within Corporate Finance and the broader JPMorgan Chase organization, and to gain significant leadership and business acumen experience within a nimble team responsible for leading one of the Firm's global regulatory programs.

As a Vice President within the Resolution PMO team, you will lead a variety of activities focused on development and ongoing enhancement of JPMorgan Chase's Global Title I and Insured Depository Institution (IDI) Resolution Plans.
Prior experience in Resolution Planning is not required; however, the successful candidate should have experience in supporting Investment Banking (IB) and have good knowledge of IB products.
Ideally, the candidate would also have experience in managing project-based work. Experience leading projects in finance, operations, consulting or related fields would position a candidate well to be successful in this role.
Direct experience in managing large, complex deliverables and producing high-quality, client-facing deliverables (e.g., presentations, quantitative and qualitative analysis) is strongly preferred.
This role will interact with senior management across disciplines and be responsible for maintaining relationships across several business and support areas.
Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following :
- Assume ownership for key Resolution Plan components and interface with the Commercial & Investment Banking PMO team and across the Firm to ensure successful delivery of Resolution Plan components.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current regulatory requirements, Firm Resolution strategies, and evolving requirements.
- Develop subject matter expertise in one or more Resolution-related topic areas and serve as Resolution PMO point of contact for assigned contact area(s).
- Lead the development of presentation materials to support executive management decision-making forums including the Resolution and Recovery Executive Steering Committee, regulatory bodies, and others.
- Lead Resolution plan enhancement initiatives through developing relationships across the organization, collaborating to define required work, and driving change as necessary to support effective delivery of initiatives.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of assigned deliverables through validating consistency of data and analysis across plans, performing periodic quality reviews to ensure deliverable quality, and engaging with firmwide quality assurance and audit teams as required.
- Perform data analysis to support Resolution plan content creation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in financial / capital markets, financial regulation, or a related role.
- Experience and interest in the regulatory environment for financial services.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and influence across a broad organizational landscape and at multiple management levels in order to ensure alignment of teams to program objectives.
- Ability to take ownership for assigned deliverables and proactively manage them to timely completion (escalating when appropriate) to ensure objectives are met.
- Experience creating high-quality presentation content for senior audiences and conveying succinct analysis and conclusions in presentation materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proactively ask questions and seek feedback on deliverables as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
- Prior experience in a supporting Investment Banking with an understanding of project management processes and governance is preferred.
- Experience in resolution or recovery planning or supporting other regulatory programs is a plus.
