Well respected not-for-profit in Albany County is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team! Our client, is offering a great quality of life, well-rounded benefits package, and room for growth.
Primary responsibilities would include :
- Assist the Director of Finance with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end financial statements
- Perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately
- Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue and receivables
- Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations including bank reconciliations.
Candidate profile should include :
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Associates Degree will be considered
- 1+ years of experience in not-for-profit or corporate accounting
- Experience in MS Office, intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred
- Strong organizational and communicative skills
