About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : 1 year License : OR license required, pending submission accepted Certifications : Must-Have : EPIC charting experience Job Description : Work in a Short Term Acute Care facility with a total of 109 staff beds.
- Deliver direct patient care in Labor and Delivery.- Maintain a labor ratio of 1 : 1 and a postpartum ratio of 3 : 1.- Participate in a rotating weekend schedule, working every third or every other weekend.
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).- Expected to float within the hospital or to affiliated nearby facilities as needed.
- Complete 40 hours of non-billable orientation and required modules averaging 16 hours, with approval needed for over 20 hours.
- Have an updated communication device for work duties if not provided.Maintain compliance with facility policies, including COVID-19 vaccination with medical or religious exemptions and declinations allowed.
