Job Description :

Participates in release and test planning. Develops release test plans. Develops and executes test artifacts (automated, manual, or both) based on functional and non-functional requirements and industry and organizational standards.

Reviews test artifacts prepared by others. Collaborates with the system development team to ensure the quality of the software produced.

Provides management with the status of projects, problems, or other outstanding project-related issues. Contractor personnel should be able to effectively communicate with other individuals at all levels within organizations and with differing economic, social, cultural or educational backgrounds.

They should have skills in oral and written communications and the ability to exercise tact in dealing with others in a courteous and diplomatic manner.

Typical assignments include designing, developing, and maintaining information systems that utilize Services Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Ensures that project and agency standards are addressed, including various industry standards such as ISO 20000 and / or ISO 9000 : 2001.

Requires knowledge and experience with a variety of operating systems, web browsers, and miscellaneous software tools. Technologies may include, but are not limited to : Visual Studio, .

NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio, Telerik UI for ASP, Syncfusion, Hangfire, Business Objects.

MSTest, jQuery, Entity Framework, Elmah, Telerik JustMock, Renci SSH.Net, Newtonsoft JSON.NET, Microsoft Azure DevOps. Oversees quality assurance activities associated with software

development and analysis tasks. Develops test plans, performs exploratory testing, and executes functional and regression testing.

Works closely with engineering, product management, and support teams to ensure the product is ready for release. Pulls Product Backlog Items (PBIs) that are ready to be tested from Azure DevOps to perform QC testing.

Logs bugs to the PBIs in Azure DevOps so that the developer can address the bug. Creates the Test Plan checklist and the Test Results document.

Creates test cases in Azure DevOps for the user stories. Performs testing using those test cases to verify that the user story meets all the acceptance criteria.

Performs integration and system testing.

Prepares test data. Notifies customer and support team when changes are ready for UAT. Supports UAT. Submits test plan and test results to the customer and support team for

approval. Performs production rehearsal testing prior to production releases.

Minimum Qualifications :

Associate's degree. Has at least three years of progressive experience in the validation of software systems. Possesses an Advanced Level Test Analyst or Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst ISTQB certification, which can substitute for this experience.

Demonstrates good communication skills and the ability to work independently or under general direction only. Analysis of requirements, both functional and non-functional, to identify potential tests.

Analysis of standards documents to identify potential tests. Participation in software system team planning sessions. Development and execution of test artifacts (e.

g., Test Suites, Test Cases, and Test Scripts) in manual testing tools. Review of test artifacts in a manual testing tool.

Development and execution of test artifacts in automated testing tools.
