A person with a track record of authoring mature and sophisticated cloud architectures. A deep understanding of the MERN stack as well as RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a software development role
• 3+ years of experience with the MERN stack
• 2+ years experience writing SQL queries
• Skilled at designing and implementing sophisticated server-side APIs and business logic.
• Experience in the following technologies
• Node.JS
• Typescript
• MongoDB
• Elasticsearch
• Postgres
• RabbitMQ
• Oauth2.0 (OpenID Connect)
• The ability to rapidly consume and understand a large existing codebase.
• Someone who can effectively communicate with peers, customers, and stakeholders

Other Beneficial skills

• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Ansible
• MQTT
• Mosquitto
• Proficiency in stripe, twilio, slack and mailgun APIs

Preferred Experience and Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering a related field or equivalent experience.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk (standing desks available)
• Working in an office environment using typical office equipment
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Travel Requirement

Traveling less than 5% of the time.

On location at Draper office off I-15 just south of IKEA
