JOIN OUR TEAM AS A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)! Your Work Matters How will you make a difference? The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Take and record vital signs properly.
- Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and documents any changes in a patient's appearance, behavior or ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
- Communicate changes in patient's condition to the charge nurse.
- Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient.
- Ensure awareness of patient's individualized plan of care including goals and interventions.
- Provide information to the charge nurse that assists in the development and revision of the treatment plan.
- Document the treatment plan, nursing interventions and the patient's response to the intervention.
- Ensure intervention is based on the patient's plan of care. Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for :
- Education : Certified Nursing Assistant training or Foreign Graduate Registered Nurse.
- Licensure : CNA certification required.
- Experience : One year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness, preferred.
- Additional Skill Requirements : Successful completion CPR certification and Management of Aggressive Behavior training to within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting with restraining procedures.
