Job Description : Medical Biller (Administrative)
Unit Name : Administrative Office
Shift : 8-Hour Days (8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM), Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
Location : Cleveland, OH 44102
Overview :
Medical Biller to assist with revenue cycle management until the end of 2024. As a part of the billing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate billing operations, contributing to the organization's mission of serving those in need.

Responsibilities :
- Perform clerical functions related to revenue cycle management, including insurance verifications and billing follow-up.
- Investigate outstanding or pending claims, working to resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of billing information for insurance claims and patient accounts.
- Follow up on accounts requiring further evaluation to ensure accurate billing and collections.
- Maintain accurate documentation of billing activities and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with the billing team and other departments to ensure a smooth billing process.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the billing office and overall mission of Catholic Charities.
Qualifications :
- Strong understanding of medical billing and collection practices.
- Working knowledge of insurance and reimbursement processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, colleagues, and the public.
- Willingness to work in-office and uphold the values of Catholic Charities.
