job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement Manage patient ratios of 5-7 patients per nurse 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit on Main 4E May be floated to other Medical Surgical departments Med / Surg or PCU experience required BLS certification and VA nursing license required Rehabilitation experience preferred Perform medication administration including IVs, PICC lines, and PEG tube administration Conduct bladder scans, tracheostomy care, tube feeding, Foley catheter care, and bladder irrigation Administer blood products as needed Work with equipment including vitals machines, Baxter IV pumps, SCDs, and bladder scanners Use Meditech documentation system Navy blue or white solid scrubs required Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiatrist, Physician Assistant, and Neuropsychologist Focus on patient functional improvements and achieving goals for functional independence Referral bonus
