Travel Pathology Assistant - $2,533 per week in Cleveland, OH

Job Title : Pathologists Assistant Profession : Laboratory Specialty : Surgical Pathology Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 Experience : Minimum 3 years of surgical pathology experience License : Must have a permanent Ohio license in hand at the time of submission. Certifications : Must be certified by an accredited Pathologists Assistant school. Must hold PA (ASCP) cm certification. Must-Have : Requires candidate to be a certified Pathologists Assistant from a NAACLS accredited PA training program. Description : Performs gross description and dissection of human tissue surgical specimens for examination, holding, and transport / shipment. Assists with the preparation of freshly removed surgical specimens for cytologic studies. Assumes responsibility for good documentation practices and maintains clear and legible records. Is delegated by the Technical Supervisor to perform laboratory high complexity laboratory testing in a compliant manner, i.e., specimen grossing. Follows the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of patient test results.
