Buying Administrator
Position Objective : To assist in managing the buying functions as directed.
Reporting Structure : This position formally reports to the Director of Center Store.
Status : This is a non-exempt position.
Knowledge
The following is a list of any certifications, formal education, or training requirements for this position.
Essential Knowledge
One or more years of related data entry and 10-key experience and / or training preferred.
Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino Learning Plan.
Skills

Essential Job Functions
- Assist with purchasing to support Ad and other Promotional events.
- Review previous purchase history to provide suggested orders for Buyers.
- Assist Buyers with weekly and monthly merchandising planning.
- Tracking and reporting period and quarterly margins by department and category.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, store personnel and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conduct post promotion analysis to track sales and profit results against goals.
- Analyze and track store shrink / loss.
- Excel experience a Plus; must be comfortable working with Excel.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Any other job-related duties requested by any person authorized to give instructions or assignment.
Physical Abilities
The following physical movements could potentially be part of any scheduled shift and employees will be expected to perform these actions while on duty.
Essential Abilities
- Able to sit for extended periods of time in an office setting.
- Perform repetitive movements associated with typing and other clerical job tasks.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time on tile, asphalt, concrete or other hard surfaces.
Non-Essential Abilities
- Reaching overhead with both arms and twisting at the waist.
- Pushing and pulling items to the proper locations as needed.
- Lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Bending and squatting, at times all the way to floor level.
