Your Role as a Cardiac Specialty Registered Nurse

As a vital member of our team, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical providers, you will provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care while advocating for patients to ensure an unparalleled experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient conditions during admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes.
  • Perform procedures as ordered by medical providers.
  • Document care administration in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical care.
  • What You’ll Need

  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (to be obtained within 90 days of employment).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (to be obtained within 30 days of employment).
