Caregiver

Position : Caregiver Location : 6257 Telegraph Road Bloomfield Hills, MI Job Id : 660 # of Openings : 0 Autumn House Senior Living Community in Bloomfield Hills is looking for hardworking Care Aides to add to our team! We are currently looking to fill our afternoon shifts. We have full, part time and contingent staff who are available to pick up open shifts. Responsibilities and Duties

• Assisting residents with showering, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, oral care, laundry, and transportation to / from the dining room
• Medication administration for residents
• Performing tasks that contribute to the day to day operation of the home (such as cooking, cleaning, laundry)
• Assist with daily activities and enriching the lives of our wonderful residents!
• Maintaining the home in safe manner. Fixes or notifies someone, i.e., supervisor of any safety or maintenance issues
• Always communicate in a positive and productive manner with co-workers, families / guardians, and the public
• Supporting co-workers and actively participates in team process
• Providing complete, accurate and timely documentation
• Performing tasks in accordance with Care Cardinal Policies and Procedures and that of other regulatory bodies, (CMH, AAA, Reliance, Licensing, Recipient Rights, etc.)
• Positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift
• Employees are required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Performs other duties as requested by supervisory staff

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to lift 50lbs
• The ability to interact with people in a positive and supportive manner
• Encouraged but not required upon hire : First Aid / CPR certified 1+ year experience in a similar setting
