The Joyce Stock Snuggery at Glens Falls Hospital is the area's leading family-focused birthing center. The Snuggery has 2 OB practices with midwives and obstetricians covering Labor & Deliver 24 / 7.

• Snuggery : Level 1
• Patient census : average 90-100 deliveries per month
• EMR : EPIC
• Not required to circulate or scrub cesarean sections
• Responsible for baby in OR, and mother in PACU with a second nurse
• A shared leadership model encourages nursing engagement and decision making at the bedside

Dress Code : Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.

Non-Billable Orientation : 8hrs

Multipliers (OT, Holiday, Call-Back) : 1.25%

Call : 4.00

Charge : 3.00 (Not applicable to this need)

Requirement description :

• 3-5 YEARS CURRENT EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
• 2+ years current L&D / LDRP experience
• 2+ years Post Partum experience

Must be able to care for laboring mothers

• Mother / Baby experience
• Epic Experience
• All certificates active & current
• Ability to read & interpret EFM
• Travel experience encouraged
• Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
• NO BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED

• Work History
• Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
• License / Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license / certs)
