Position Purpose
Identify, analyze, implement, and control cost and activities related to the tactical plans and initiatives for N.A. Automotive (US, CA and MX.)
Execute the operationalized inventory plan and manage all events impacting supply chain throughout the year, both planned and unplanned.
Major / Key Accountabilities
Inventory Targets & Positioning
Recommend Network & Service Center level inventory targets (minimum safety stock).
Monitor Surplus / Deficit status of our markets, recommending changes that drive our cost / improve service, improve our overall inventory health.
Evaluate / Recommend relocations or repositioning moves to maintain optimal positioning that reduces overall Network Transport Spend.
Provide guidance to logistics on replans that balance inventory according to safety stock levels.
Demand / Supply Sourcing Strategy
Recommend improvements to the mapping of demand / supply to drive out cost / improve reliability of fulfillment.
Enhance mapping compliance on relocations, issues, and collections for adherence to optimal mapping.
Track / Report conformance vs. Plan, quantifying opportunity cost & driving corrective actions to improve.
Creates and implements action plans with execution partners for short term answers, while leveraging our PNO capabilities & Optimization Team to develop long term solutions.
Work to drive consistency in network flows by limiting source points when possible and being judicious with mapping changes.
Partners with transportation to drive value through RFQ process, identifying lanes with greatest opportunity to improve rate & service level.
SC Visibility / Modernization
Lead development of Automotive PowerBI capabilities. Aid in transitioning legacy reports from BV to Power BI; develop new views to shine light in current blind spots.
Own SC process automation, maintain existing RPA capabilities, evaluate & recommend future automation work streams.
Track / Report Actual conformance vs. Optimal plan, quantifying opportunity cost & driving corrective actions to improve our KPIs.
Be an agent of change recommend new ways of working that push our business forward. Improve & elevate the status quo.
Other Responsibilities
Manage international flows, specialty stocks & programs. Develop contingency plans for complexities introduced by these programs, recommend storage locations for idle Intercontinental assets.
Develops, collaborates, executes, and measures event management plans for both planned and unplanned events within the network.
Collaborates with logistics, transportation, sales, service, and operations to identify and implement cost savings opportunities.
Maintains process documentation & work instructions for all activities critical to business continuity.
Assists with quoting process of new business as needed as well as ensuring a seamless onboarding process.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent
Strong analytical skills
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Desirable Qualifications :
Six Sigma Knowledge
Experience
2 Years of experience in Supply Chain required
