Essential Job Functions :
- Responsible for setting up, breaking down and cleanliness of buffet line and breakfast area (including walls, cabinets, countertops, tables, floors)
- Responsible for food preparation following recipes, brand, and Food Safety Standards.
- Responsible for breakdown of all boxes, emptying trash containers into the dumpster, and cleaning all containers
- Pick up mats and daily sweep and mop entire kitchen and breakfast area floor, including under counters and racks, maintain floors dry and free of debris at all times
- Responsible for Food inventory, receiving and storing
Qualifications and Requirements
- 1 Year of prior Hotel or Food Service Experience preferred, or In-person Customer Service Experience
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to multitask and handle stress in busy periods
- The employee is required to stand, walk, for prolong periods of time
- Ability to frequently lift and / or move up to 50 lbs, to handle guests packages or luggage
- Must have good near and far vision, including ability read and interpret written instructions / directions
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers (Bilingual Spanish / English, preferred)
- Ability to distinguish smells
- Duties mainly performed indoors
- Must be able to hear, moderate noise level
