Sodexo Airline Lounges is searching for a Director of Facilities Management and Technical Services to build our Sodexo story.

The Director of Technical Services is an energetic leader that oversee the Technical Services initiative for Airport Lounges.

The Director of Technical Services will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical services to our clients.

This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to drive innovation, optimize processes, and achieve operational excellence.

Provide guidance and direction to align technical services with overall business goals.

This is a virtual position . This person will be actively working within our Airline Lounge accounts throughout the nation.

Ideally, we'd like the selected candidate to reside in the Midwest to East Coast regions. This position will have some travel, estimated at up to 40%, and must be located within 30 minutes of a major airport.

Technical Knowledge and Key Attributes :

  • To support strategic management of the Airline Lounges Technical Services platform development and deployment and related activity from Regional Transversal initiatives into segment providing the framework under which initiatives and projects are planned and executed, helping to ensure they are delivered to a consistently high standard, on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and develop customized solutions that meet their requirements.

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the technical services department, including project management, resource allocation, and budgeting.

Ensure efficient and effective service delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

  • Accountable for ensuring the development, communication and implementation of the FM Services platform related deployment activity for country level are delivered to agreed success parameters, ensuring any issues are appropriately addressed and captured by the Vice President of Hospitality and Innovation.
  • Partners with I / T to ensure the most up to date and relevant enablement tools for recognition, communication, and guest insights.

Skills and Knowledge :

Technical leadership role in a developmental, operational or deployment related role within a technical services business.

North American experience (desirable)

  • Must have a strong background in regulatory compliance and regulatory management.
  • Must have relevant operational experience, running and coordinating Facilities Management business (Unit Level, State / Multi-State Level) to include :
  • Coordinating Labor at the site and regional level
  • Managing budgets (contractor and client)
  • Managing and mitigating regulatory aspects of Facilities Management business
  • Demonstrated experience in Facilities Management Safety Management and creating safe workplace environment
  • Client negotiation and contract management
  • Other technical skills as required to manage a book of Facilities Management business

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 7-10 years

Basic Functional Experience - 7-10 years of technical, facilities management or related experience
