Overview
VTG is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to perform and oversee systems engineering and analysis required to deliver technical support services to multiple customers within the U.
S. Navy Systems Commands and affiliated Program Executive Offices (PEOs), including, but not limited to Command & Control, Communications, Computer, Combat Systems, Cybersecurity, Intelligence (C6I) Modernization, Information Technology (IT) Modernization, and Digital Transformation.
What will you do?
- Lead and / or contribute to pipeline development, capture strategies and proposal development.
- Contribute to identifying and understanding federal government customer requirements and resulting business opportunities.
- Keep management apprised of customer and competitor situations.
- Monitor, assess, and implement standards for sustaining and advancing workforce talent acquisition, capability development, and associated training requirements.
- Lead or participate in customer-focused or corporate emergent or short-term special projects, studies, strategic planning initiatives, as necessary and as availability allows.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor's degree supporting systems engineering, software engineering or significant analysis experience is a plus.
- 15 years civil service / relevant Industry experience.
- US Navy operational experience gained while on active duty.
- Advanced writing and speaking abilities a must.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to perform efficiently and effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with the customers.
- Eligibility for U.S. security clearance.
- Minimum travel may be required in the US.
