WHAT YOU WILL DO :
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will build, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing lines. This includes :
- Conduct feasibility studies to estimate product cost, capacity and capability requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional departments to make process and procedure recommendations.
- Support a wide variety of processing applications, such as machining, finishing, cleaning, heat treating, bonding etc.
- Maintain / improve controlled technical documents, such as prints, procedures, BOMs and routers.
- Provide training and guidance to entry-level engineers.
- Develop an understanding of lean manufacturing, problem solving methods and lead Kaizen events.
- Use CAD to design / modify process fixtures.
WHAT YOU NEED : Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar is required.
- 2-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience working in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software (Minitab).
- Proficiency in 3-D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
