The Commercial Operations Manager / Director (depending on seniority) will drive Fertilo’s ex-US commercialization strategy, expanding its adoption in key global markets where the product is currently approved, including Japan, Australia, Latin America, MENA, and Southeast Asia.
This role will oversee clinical partnerships, pilot programs, and market penetration while establishing processes for long-term commercial success.
You will serve as the primary liaison between Fertilo and clinic partners, managing the end-to-end onboarding and operational process to create case studies of successful adoption, early evidence of traction, and valuable insights ahead of our US market launch.
- Process Design & Optimization : Develop and manage the complete operational pathway from initial clinic engagement, mutual diligence, staff education, and training to ongoing support and clinical data collection.
- Market Expansion & Client Engagement : Grow Fertilo’s adoption from a handful of clinics to approximately a dozen clinics within six months in approved markets, including Japan, Australia, MENA, and LATAM.
- Pilot Monitoring & Data Publication : Oversee commercial pilots, collect clinical data, and publish results to provide a compelling basis for transitioning clinic partners into future happy paying customers.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Coordinate with internal teams (embryology, medical, finance, legal) and regional BD leads to streamline clinic onboarding, ensure regulatory compliance, and support local sales initiatives.
- Proof of Concept & Market Learnings : Create case studies of successful clinic adoption, improve the onboarding process, and identify key learnings to refine our approach ahead of US commercialization.
- Customer Satisfaction & Relationship Management : Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring clinic partners have the tools and resources needed for successful adoption and positive patient outcomes.
- Early Sales : Act as a company ambassador and spokesperson at events, engaging confidently with clinic representatives and pitching Fertilo’s benefits.
Organize and participate in company events, present company products, and distribute brochures, explaining key scientific and clinical data and Fertilo’s unique value propositions.
Marketing Materials : Collaborate with the team to create and refine documentation and marketing materials targeted at key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of Fertilo’s scientific and clinical advantages.
Qualifications :
- Experience : 5+ years in operations, preferably within biotech, consulting, medical devices, or fertility industry sectors, with experience in ex-US markets.
- Industry Knowledge : In-depth understanding of IVF, egg-freezing technologies, and the global fertility market landscape and passion to learn more.
- Skills : Exceptional project management skills, data analysis, and process optimization expertise; ability to develop and execute operational strategies in international contexts.
- Communication : Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders, including clinical staff, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
- Flexibility & Travel : Willingness to travel to clinics worldwide as needed, with an eagerness to dive into the operational and clinical nuances of the fertility sector.
- Location : Based in Austin, Texas, with periodic travel to NYC and globally as required.
