Our prestigious treatment center, specializing in medical opiate detox within a full-service hospital setting, is currently seeking a part-time with the possibility of full time, to join our team.
As a CNA, your mission will be to provide essential administrative and patient support. The assigned shifts will primarily cover afternoons and evenings.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver various therapeutic services in all of the recovery programs at Domus Retreat and AAMOD Medical Center.
- Assist the medical director during patient consultations and medical treatments.
- Attend to patients' requests and provide necessary assistance.
- Offer support and address questions to alleviate patient anxiety.
- Communicate patient status and any issues to the management office and medical director.
- Coordinate admissions and ensure a smooth process for patients.
- Keep family members informed with regular updates post-procedure.
- Coordinate discharge plans and transportation arrangements with Domus Retreat and the management office.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare field.
- Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Certification in medical assisting, CNA, or a related field is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Flexibility in scheduling and adapting to changing admissions.
- Possess a positive attitude and a high level of patience when dealing with patients.
- Knowledge and experience in adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and excellent interpersonal skills.
Qualifications :
- Valid Driver's License.
- Clean driving record (must provide DMV printout upon hire).
- EMT or CNA license in good standing.
- CAADAC or CAADE certification (within 60 days of hire).
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Associate Degree or higher.
Note : This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and is not suitable for entry-level candidates.
