Responsibilities

Build Next-Gen Creation Experience - HeyGen is leading the innovation of visual content creation with AI - avatars, videos, and so on.

You will take the lead in researching and defining the next problem people have with creating with AI, by combining your industry expertise and professional analysis, and work with the team to deliver the optimal product experience.

  • Know Your Customers - constantly talk to existing and potential customers to build communication and empathy avenues with them, extracting and integrating key insights for product roadmap and improvements.
  • Define The Best Problems - facing a fast growing technology, industry and market, equip yourself with the existing best practices of content creation experience as well as undiscovered insights of what's even better based on your qualitative and quantitative research, identify the core product problems to solve for.
  • Lead Product Initiatives - go after the best product problem for enterprise customers, set up goals with clear scope and direction, work with designers and developers to quickly iterate and deliver product updates to customers.
  • Keep Up With The Market - constantly stay on the front edge of the industry, following competitor updates, new technology advances for up-to-date and holistic view of the market.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management in desktop / web content creation softwares.
  • Team Player - you can communicate clearly and objectively with teammates, leading a conversation to an optimal consensus faster without friction, you know how to convince others or to be convinced.
  • Technical Understanding - you understand the technical side of things so you know what's practical or not and can work with developers seamlessly to push through projects, making product decisions facing unexpected technical challenges or tradeoffs.
  • Detail Oriented - you don't let any pixel, typo or inaccurate data slip under your watch, no matter from internal communication or user-facing product developments.
  • Hands-on Fast Learner - you learn things fast and get on top of new systems and tools quickly.
