Accounts Payable
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Representative. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong numerical skills, and is a proactive problem solver.
The ideal candidate will have a robust operational accounting background and enjoy balancing multiple priorities. Schedule is Monday- Friday from 8am-5pm and pay rate is $21.00 hourly.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Review, audit, and process invoices and expense reports in accordance with company policies.
Ensure the accuracy of invoices, verifying proper authorization and documentation.
Post payables into the accounting system accurately.
Prepare and execute weekly check runs.
Assist in reconciling vendor statements and maintaining vendor relationships.
Resolve vendor invoice and employee expense issues promptly.
Manage shared inboxes and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles.
Comfortable with embracing change in an evolving environment.
Demonstrated teamwork capabilities.
Education and Experience :
High School diploma or equivalent required.
A minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable experience.
Experience in the transportation / logistics industry is a plus.
Multi-state employer experience preferred.
