About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS and ACLS

Must-Have :

• Previous experience in an observation unit
• Ability to read telemetry strips

Description :

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.

Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.

Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the health care team.

Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Working in a high turnover, fast-paced unit that sees patients with complex cases.

Maintains a patient ratio of 5 : 1 with 7 to 8 Registered Nurses on the unit per shift.

Demonstrates clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Possesses the ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

Exhibits the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
