We are seeking a part-time bus / van (14 passenger) driver, who is dependable, punctual, responsible and a team player.

Qualifications :
- Must have a current criminal background check through NCDCDEE
- Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
- Must meet basic requirements of the local child care regulatory agency
- Previous bus / van driver experience
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situation
Responsibilities :
- Picking up students at local elementary schools (within a 5 mile radius) for our after school program with our 13 passenger bus, bus driving experience preferred, no CDL required.
- Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of South Charlotte and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
- Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior.
- Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and / or school functions.
- Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Primrose School of South Charlotte Employee Handbook
- Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.
