The Custom Design and Emerging Technology team is focused on delivering next generation technologies through innovative solutions.

What you’ll achieveAs a Data Center Architect, Technical Staff, Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for developing next generation data center infrastructure solutions.

You will work closely with DELL CTO, sales teams, and customers. These solutions include next generation data center technologies for mechanical, cooling, network, and power.

You will have the opportunity to engage with high profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications. You will be responsible for driving innovation at data center level with new liquid cooling technologies and power.

Your work will range from the traditional data center space to the innovative DELL Modular Data Center solutions.You will : Manage multiple programs at once, present often to Dell leadership and external customersDevelop data center end to end solutions from Compute to the Customer Data Center.

This will include traditional data center or modular data center architectureOptimize cost, energy efficiency and performance from IT to the data center;

design, develop, and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systemsBe responsible for driving the architecture of end-to-end solutions from server to data center, including air and liquid cooled servers, integrated rack solutions, power distribution and heat rejectionDemonstrate engineering rigor and leadership across various disciplines, mechanical, power, controls, and thermals, work with internal cross-functional teams, ODMs, and suppliersTake the first step towards your dream career.

Here’s what we are looking for with this role : Essential Requirements 15+ years of experience working knowledge of data center power distribution and thermal technologies from servers to the data centerExperience solving complex thermal / power problems at the data center levelAbility to go from customer problem statement, to concept, and implementation of complex data center level solutions;
• customer facing experienceExperience balancing competing priorities to achieve the best possible outcome for all stakeholders;
• excellent written and verbal communication skills presenting to leadership and customersDeep knowledge of hardware and software interactions, and ability to apply this understanding to resolve issues quickly and effectively;
