Warehouse Material Handler / Forklift

Hercules, CA (Local candidates)

$23hr (Weekly pay + Benefits + overtime)

6 months contract (Great potential for extension or permanent)

Full- time : 8am to 4 : 30pm M-Th, then 6 : 00am to 2 : 30pm Friday.

Together they are helping people everywhere live longer, healthier lives. They are looking for Warehouse Material Handler (Forklift certified) to join the team.

There are many aspects to this position such as being able to multi-task & move from one process to another. Maintaining an organized workstation and compiling with GMP warehouse practices.

Performing daily business needs to support both warehouses and production departments. Assisting co-workers with both systemic and non-systemic task.

Operating safely within tight constraints while using equipment. Keeping up with daily / weekly dispatch schedule changes.

How You'll Make An Impact :

• Attendance - Report to work as scheduled on time.
• Positive attitude and able to collaborate with peers supporting a professional atmosphere.
• Performs various routine physical tasks, including general upkeep, organization and cleaning within the warehouse. Computer Skills necessary for processes
• SAP Processes : Material Movements, Process Order picking & staging for Production. Stock Transfer Orders Executing, picking, packing materials for transport.
• Cost Center orders, Cycle Counting, Scrap Material processing, and other functional SAP & Warehouse processes.
• Conducts Material Movements in accordance with SAP direction. Bin to Bin movements. Ensures physical material & system quantity always match.
• Operates Reach Truck Forklifts, Stackers, or related power equipment.
• Maintains clean work area. Executes daily cleaning & compliance of assigned cleaning area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to have good reading and writing skills in English
• 2+ yrs related experience, working in warehouse, production, or manufacturing
• Must be forklift certified OR have at least 2yrs of Forklift experience
• Experience to move materials in the warehouse, processand order picking
• Intermediate math and computer skills.
• Experience with ERP System, SAP preferred or similar systems .
• Experience with cycle counting and handling materials
• Experience to operate forklifts, pallet jacks or applicable equipment utilized in the workplace.
• Ability to work in face paced environment while moving upright for 6 to 10 hours.
• Ability to lift at least 45lbs and use equipment such as pallet jacks and lift assist equipment for heavier material
• Requires Steel toe shoes
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Requires clean driving record (Use of forklift)
