Job Description & Requirements :
- Duration : Upcoming 24 / 25 school year, with potential for renewal based on performance and school needs.
- Setting : School environment, serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Responsibilities :
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
- Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Experience :
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Exposure to IEP development and AAC devices is a plus.
- Licensing : Must have an active or pending SLPA license in the state of Indiana.
- Hours : Guaranteed work hours for both direct and indirect services, ensuring consistent employment.
