Description :

As a Senior Product Manager at Zelis, you will be instrumental in understanding customer requirements and translating them into a prioritized backlog of work for both Zelis Public Cloud (Azure / AWS) and Zelis Private Cloud on-premises.

Your role will be crucial in integrating Cloud Products (CP) into enterprise demand management processes and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

Analyze incoming demand from the intake portal and assign net-new features and / or product issues to Technical Product Owners.

Work closely with CP pods and Technical Product Owners to own, replenish, and prioritize product backlogs in response to customer requirements.

Define the "definition of done" for product teams and act as the main point of collaboration between CP and Application Teams.

Develop and formalize the CP Product Taxonomy and Service Catalog.

Design and implement processes for demand decomposition, solution reference development, internal demand incorporation, and new demand categorization.

Assess the impact of new development and the capacity of CP pods to take on new products.

Define high-level solution architecture for new products or features and ensure alignment with the Cloud Strategy.

Oversee the product team process for user-story creation and backlog prioritization.

Update the CP Roadmap and communicate changes effectively.

Establish CP Product Team norms and culture definitions.

Manage the product promotion and publication process.

Write Initiatives and Epics and organize the Jira Plan (Timeline) View or Roadmaps.

Understand the cloud platform requirements from business product owners / application development teams.

Create the product vision and guide the team to make the vision a reality.

Understand compliance requirements of the cloud platform and manage any compliance audits.

Maximize the value of the cloud platform for the enterprise.

Manage the Cloud Platform Engineering backlog, ensuring items are clearly documented, ordered, visible, transparent, and show what the Product Team will work on next.

Coordinate closely with the Enterprise Cloud Architect for Platform Roadmap.

Responsible for the "All Things Cloud" portal to inform, educate, and facilitate cloud adoption and support.

Required Experience :

Bachelor's degree

Minimum 5+ years of experience working as a Product Manager

Jira

Preferred Experience :

Public Cloud (Azure and / or AWS preferred) experience to include :

On-Premises private Cloud infrastructure

Cloud services Product Management

Understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog creation processes.

Agile certification(s)

Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams

Strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset
