brands. We are vertically integrated from the farm to the shelf and offer services above and beyond
traditional manufacturing, becoming a trusted growth partner for leading brands. We are growing
quickly, adding exciting new products, processes, and packaging capabilities. Thanks to this growth, we
are looking to add more Quality Assurance Technicians to our team.
Position Summary
The Sanitation Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured
at The Fresh Factory conform to food safety and quality specifications as well as overseeing all sanitation
efforts. This roll will involve overseeing all onsite sanitation personnel, coordinating all sanitation efforts
with production and QA, as well as staffing the night QA position. This role reports to the Quality
Assurance Manager. This is a third shift role and will be operating independently, a candidate with
strong self-organization and task management is preferred.
Responsibilities
Test and release finished product samples
Monitor key processing Critical Control Points
Periodically test packaging integrity, fill weights, and fill levels
Inspect finished goods packaging
Collect retain samples
Conduct pre-operational inspections and release equipment for use
Perform environmental monitoring swabs, read and record results
Participate in regular Food Safety Team meetings
Ensure the plant is audit ready (SQF, Organic, FDA, and customer audits)
Ensure all sanitation operations happen as schedule
Coordinate and oversee all sanitation personnel
Ensure all lines are cleaned and are released from sanitation for morning start up
As needed be the senior representative for the operations in the absence of the line leads
Qualifications :
Strong communication skills
Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to work with multiple departments including Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse &
Logistics, and Research & Development
Ability to use a computer and tablet
Must speak, read and write English and be conversationally fluent in Spanish
Physical requirements
Move / Lift up to 50lbs
o Stands most of the day
o Works in Cold Room 25-50% of the time
o Must wear Personal Protective Equipment
