Kia of Irving is seeking to hire motivated and qualified Porters for our dealership. The Porter is responsible for moving, parking, cleaning, keeping vehicles in sound working condition, and helping Service and Sales Department to accommodate the needs of mechanics, car buyers, and visitors at manager's request.

Employee Prerequisites :

• Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
• Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles; Capability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Flexible schedule
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to understand and comprehend simple, maintenance instructions.

Job functions include but not limited to :

• Maintains vehicle inventory quality and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles. The Porter replenishes all vehicle fluids as necessary and replaces batteries when necessary.
• Conducts vehicle damage inspections and tracks inventory of the vehicles. The Porter makes key tags for vehicles, if necessary.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as necessary. The Porter inspects parts, equipment, and vehicle cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Relocates vehicles as directed by the General Manager and complies with dealership display standards. The Porter preserves a tidy and secure location for the new and pre-owned parking lots.
