About this role :

Directs a multi-disciplinary development team to develop and implement significant improvements to core systems and business processes in support of the company's / divisions profit, growth, and customer satisfaction goals.

Gartner seeks a versatile IT Technical Lead to facilitate and drive the migration and implementation of Professional Services Automation (PSA) and CRM software.

This role involves design and delivery of key initiatives for PSA and CRM software , finance integrations, and accounting practices.

The ideal candidate will be a thought leader and collaborator enhancing IT-business partnerships, contributing to program roadmap development, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth program execution.

An ideal candidate should have prior experience implementing PSA and CRM software for Consulting organizations.

What you'll do :

  • Designing, implementing, unit, integration testing and supporting modules developed.
  • Lead the review and analysis of business requirements to create technical specifications
  • Lead and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design / specifications
  • Prepare and provide adequate (quality and quantity) documentation for work products.
  • Work with geographically distributed cross-functional teams to resolve business process issues and identify business process improvement opportunities
  • Responsibility for resolving all issues assigned in a timely manner
  • Ownership for development of application architecture and delivery of technical solutions that meet business requirements
  • Ensure that all applications conform to system and programming standards and are appropriately documented
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by the business
  • Work with stakeholders to understand, prioritize and estimate development effort required for new features, enhancements and bug fixes
  • Key participant in the development and release cycle for system enhancement / fixes

What you'll need :

  • 7 - 10 years' experience in design and development on Salesforce platform and leading a team of Salesforce engineers.
  • Should have experience working in the Consulting domain for design and implementation using Salesforce for clients.
  • Should have worked on implementing Professional Services Automation (PSA) using Kantata (previously Kimble) managed package on Salesforce including configurations, customizations and integrations
  • Knowledge of any other managed package on Salesforce is an advantage
  • Expert level knowledge in implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) on Salesforce platform.
  • Ability to handle workload, facilitate activities of dynamic work groups and multi-task in a fast -paced environment.
  • Salesforce development experience including strong working knowledge and ability to code in APEX (classes, triggers, batch processes, and web services), VisualForce, Lightning, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, and Force.com.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce applications including configuration, process builders, workflows, and SOQL.
  • Working experience with DevOps tools for Salesforce code deployment using CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, BitBucket, etc...)
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model, custom objects, workflows, and configuration.
  • Ability to anticipate and produce design applications that work with governor limits and scale appropriately.
  • Salesforce.com certification (Preferred)
  • Strong problem- solving skills.
  • Understanding of integrations with Salesforce platform (REST API, Apex Callout, Bulk API)
  • A proven track record of experience in leading the design and deployment of large-scale solutions.
  • Scrum software development methodology experience is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with other teams.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116,000 USD - 163,000 USD.

Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
