Job Details
Our esteemed law firm is actively seeking a Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team.
This full-time, permanent position is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wishes to specialize in family law, and who is committed to advocating for justice and the best interests of families.
The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in practicing family law in Arizona.
Responsibilities :
- Handle all aspects of family law cases, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, paternity, pre / postnuptial agreements, adoption, and domestic violence cases.
- Conduct client meetings and maintain a high level of client care.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Conduct and oversee discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiation sessions.
- Develop case strategies based on the law, the specific circumstances of each case, and the client’s goals.
- Stay updated on current legislation and case law related to family law.
- Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and court staff.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar of Arizona.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a family law attorney.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- High level of professionalism and respect for confidentiality.
- A deep understanding of the dynamics of family conflict and a commitment to resolving these issues in the most effective and compassionate manner possible.
