Sid Grinker Restoration is a reputable company that specializes in restoring and preserving historic buildings and structures.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented painter to join our team. As a painter, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray guns
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with team members and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a painter
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy equipment
