Security Technician

Overview

Egan Company is seeking Security Technicians for customer opportunities around the Greater Twin Cities area. This is a union position with top-rate wages, healthcare, retirement and vacation benefits. We are looking for independent, customer-service-oriented individuals who will consistently adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

The basic responsibilities of the Security Technician include but are not limited to the following :

• Installation, service, or repair of specified Access, Security, and CCTV systems and peripheral devices
• Programming various security systems - Lenel, S2, Sielox, Bosch experience is a plus
• Assist with the start-up and commissioning of new equipment or system installation
• Overcome challenges on retrofits and new installations
• Train and instruct new users on a life safety equipment
• Daily communication with the Project Manager
• Completion of daily safety and additional documents

Pay Rate : $33.44-$47.73 per hour (wage rate / classification as defined in the IBEW Limited Energy Minnesota Statewide Agreement).
