About this role
As a Carrier HVAC Rental Service Technician, you'll be a part of Carrier's Rental Systems network and considered a technical expert, providing HVAC equipment repair and installation solutions for products under warranty.

Key Responsibilities :
- Service, troubleshoot, and clean HVAC equipment and related products, including but not limited to air-cooled and water-cooled systems up to 1,000 tons and Hot water boilers up to 200 hp.
- Maintain, service, and install rental systems
- Maintain accurate field service reports, including refrigerant tracking and timekeeping logs
- Regular use of power tools, hand tools, and other mechanical equipment to service and repair rental systems as needed
- Operate equipment vehicles, including forklifts
- Load and unload trucks
- Communicate professionally with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers
- Perform other duties to support the business as needed, including inventory count, general maintenance, cleaning, lifting, and organizing
Basic Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of Commercial HVAC experience
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid Driver's License
- EPA Universal license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
- EPA 608 Universal license or the ability to obtain one within 10 days of hire
Preferred Certifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC
- HVAC Rentals experience
- Forklift Certification or the ability to obtain one
