Description

This position will be supporting our Gresham site.

The Clinical Assistant is responsible for the flow of patients seen in the PACE centers. This position coordinates room set-up and clean-up.

As well, this position assists with obtaining vital signs, capillary blood glucose (CBG) results and other information needed for patient visits;

completes labs requests, including performing phlebotomy as needed; assists with the personal care of patients; and documents care given.

Required Qualifications :

  • Coursework / Training Medical terminology training. Or equivalent educ / experience
  • Within 30 days of hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications :

6 months Experience working within a healthcare clinic.

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
