Job Description
Our client is a global manufacturer of a wide range of petroleum-based products used in multiple different markets. They currently seek a Senior Process Engineer to be based at their facility in Shreveport, LA.
As a Senior Process Engineer, job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Provide engineering knowledge for process design and processing techniques
- Perform advanced engineering calculations to optimize equipment and processes
- Gather and utilize unit test data for troubleshooting
- Continuously improve efficiencies and profitability
- Provide engineering expertise to support various site projects
Job Requirements
As a Senior Process Engineer, job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following :
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility; refinery and / or chemicals
- Must have experience in process, production, maintenance, and / or operations engineering
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies is ideal
