Sr. Project Manager or Project Manager, Outreach
Albany, NY
Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Sr. Project Manager or Project Manager, Outreach, to join our client in leading the nation in the fight on global climate change and the transition to a clean-energy powered economy.
This is a FT Direct Hire position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Primary Responsibilities
- Actively manage a broad range of projects led by outside contractors with a focus on statewide and local stakeholder outreach around ESBs
- Participate in stakeholder discussions and speak at conferences with school districts, school bus fleets, the school bus industry, and other stakeholders regarding NYSERDA’s ESB efforts
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with ESB market stakeholders including industry participants, local community-based groups, and school districts
- Actively manage projects with engineering firms developing individualized fleet electrification plans for school bus fleets, as needed
- Identify and pursue opportunities for program improvement, including ways NYSERDA can better address equity in transportation
- Ability to perform all managerial and supervisory responsibilities with demonstrated experience fostering respect, diversity, equity and inclusion across the workforce.
Minimum Qualifications
- Senior Project Manager- Minimum experience of Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience
- Project Manager- Minimum experience of Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrates record of success managing projects, preferably in the clean transportation or clean energy space
- Familiarity with transportation electrification subject matter, with a preference for a moderate technical understanding of EVs and / or electric utility operations and a passion for issues related to clean transportation and equity
- Demonstrates experience supervising contractors and interacting with senior leadership in one’s own organization and in other organizations
- Demonstrated ability to independently and simultaneously manage a broad portfolio of projects, including setting workplans, managing budgets, and overseeing internal and consultant work products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with a broad spectrum of both public and private sector stakeholders
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite required; familiarity with Salesforce preferred
- Sr. Project Manager : Preferred : Master’s / Advanced degree and 6 years of relevant experience
- Project Manager : Preferred : Master’s / Advanced degree and 4 years of relevant experience
Salary
$76- $141k
