As a New Grad RN in the MWH Observation Unit, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while receiving the training and support needed to excel in your nursing career. This is an entry-level position with immediate openings for passionate individuals ready to start their journey in healthcare.

What You'll Do

Direct and coordinate nursing care, overseeing both licensed and unlicensed personnel.
Engage patients and families in care plans, including teaching and discharge planning.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care.
Assist in defining standards of excellence for patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Contribute to daily operational activities to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Provide input to the Nurse Manager on unit needs and participate in committees.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Graduation from an accredited nursing program with no prior RN experience.

Valid RN License from Virginia or a reciprocal compact state.

Preferred : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

AHA BLS Provider CPR certification required at hire.

AHA ACLS Provider certification required within 1 year.

NIHSS (Bluecloud) certification required within 90 days.
