Sr. UAS Pilot and Program Instructor Job

Position Summary
Develop UAS / robotics (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) use cases to achieve sustainable technology integration that aligns with corporate strategy.
Maintain and track success metrics; coordinate and communicate across multiple business units.
Essential Responsibilities
1) Perform UAS / robotics missions which includes developing the business case process automation and data management procedures.
Integrate and test multiple payloads and sensors and various sensor mounts. Document daily operational activities. Develop concept of operations safety assessments and submit FAA airspace authorizations waivers or certifications as required.
Perform and track safety assessments in the UAS Safety Management System. Consult with other business areas and develop technology use cases across the enterprise.
2) Partner on the development and revisions of UAS / robotics general operations manual standard operating procedures data governance safety and security practices and facilitate training for employees.
Provide oversight and work direction to maintain UAS commercial license support and continuous improvement to meet / exceed organizational goals.
Ensure all operational procedures and field execution practices are consistent across the enterprise. Maintain a continuous presence in the business work environments.
3) Design and maintain effective methods and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate overall effectiveness.
Perform post flight data processing evaluate data quality and troubleshoot poor data performance. Provide customer resources for training services mission execution products and programs.
Perform technical and process improvement consulting. Provide professional understanding of customers needs explaining technologys purpose benefits and operational considerations to maintain a high level of operation.
Conduct feasibility evaluation of customer requests for UAS / robotics. Maintain O&M and capital budgets and scheduling requirements.
4) Develop and implement systematic approach to provide enterprise UAS / robotics training and sustainment requirements to business areas and adhere to records management requirements.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure effectiveness. Design and develop skills enhancement strategies employee engagement and practices to support continuous improvement necessary to meet / exceed business and organizational goals and meet industry and competitive challenges.
5) Fully utilize business processes key metrics (scorecard marketing strategies training etc.) and project management to drive program expansion and sustainment.
Assist in preparing resource forecasts and providing input to longer-term work plans. Manage special projects that facilitate expansion adoption and sustainment of the corporate UAS / robotics program.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors or Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Engineering, Education, or related technical field.
- Five years of related experience with three years of UAS commercial operations, UAS program development and / or project management experience.
- Valid United States Passport and current FAA UAS Remote Pilot in Command license required.
- Minimum of 25% travel required.
- Operational knowledge of work and asset management and analytical / reporting applications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications.
- Will be required to work rotating shifts / weekends and / or be on call periodically.
