Import Operations Senior Manager (Ocean / Air)

To help lead our organizations overall growth and direction, were looking to hire an experienced and talented Import Operations Senior Manager to oversee a team of multiple members in setting and aligning strategic objectives with the overall company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate creation and setting of key objectives as it relates to and aligns with organizational goals
Partner with leadership to conduct operational performance check-ins
Troubleshoot sensitive and key issues to uphold high customer satisfaction and operational levels
Leads coordination and integration of cross-functional strategic growth initiatives that may include import team, pricing, truck dispatch, and HR
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, strategic partners, and vendors as it aligns with strategic goals of organization
Review and (dis)approve accounts payable and accounts receivable as submitted by team
Review and manage month end reports, P / L
Manage overall progress of performance, budget, and goals
Help build a well-developed and high-performing team that works together cohesively
Collaborate with pricing team to ensure freight and transportation rates stay competitive and aligned to goals
Reports directly to Director of Import Operations
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
7+ years in freight forwarding, logistics, and / or supply chain
5+ years of experience of working in multiple operational functions and principles, including, finance, customer service, supply chain, operations, and human resources (preferred)
5+ years in conflict management and business negotiation processes
Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed up by previous professional success
Strong work ethic
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics
Strong ethical leadership abilities
Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong people skills
Proficient in Korean (preferred)
