Profile :
A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with experience in handling California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with various aspects of litigation, including drafting and responding to discovery, initial pleadings, motions, and conducting depositions.
They must possess excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
California Bar admission is required.
Duties :
- Handle California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases.
- Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings.
- Draft and argue motions in court.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Manage multiple projects and cases simultaneously.
Requirements :
- 3+ years of employment litigation experience.
- Experience with California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases preferred.
- Strong academic credentials.
Education :
JD from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Admission to the State Bar of California.
Skills :
- Excellent writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfortable with various aspects of litigation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
