Hours : 14 hours per week

Caseload : PreK student

Location : Near Niwot, CO

Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Impaired (SLI) Specialist to join our educational team near Niwot, CO.

This part-time position involves working with a PreK student, providing specialized speech and language therapy services.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a PreK student.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the student's specific needs and goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to the student, focusing on speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and social communication skills.
• Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support the student's progress and integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications :

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a focus on Speech-Language Impairment.
• Colorado state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience working with young children, particularly in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of developmental milestones and disorders related to speech and language.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
