Pay Rate : Hourly Pay Rate Maximum : 32 Pay Rate Minimum : 28
Join our team as a Float Pool CNA to pick up shifts and support our Prestige Care Centers in Washington and Oregon. You can choose your own schedule.
We just require you to work a minimum of two shifts per month for on-call up to Full-time schedule.
Pay $28.00 to $32.00 per hour DOE. Position is also eligible for mileage reimbursement, hotel coverage for travel, shift differentials and possible shift bonus potential.
Must have CNA License in the state of Washington and or Oregon with at least 6 months experience working as a licensed CNA.
We have full-time, part-time, and on-call positions available. Full time positions are benefits eligible.
We are looking for those that are near or willing to travel to the following locations : Portland Metro Area, Milwaukie, Oregon City, Vancouver, Camas Centralia, Ellensburg, Spokane, Forest Grove, Newberg, McMinnville, Molalla, Hood River, Pendleton, Creswell, Cottage Grove and Ashland.

In this job, everyday you will
1. Provide quality nursing care to residents in anenvironment which promotes resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, andtheir individuality while providing individualized attention and encouragingresidents to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, andpsychosocial well-being and answering residents’ call lights promptly andcourteously.
2. Ensure that individualized care plans arefollowed and providing the charge nurse or other care planning staff withspecific information, changes and observations of the residents’ needs andpreferences.
3. Attends to the individual needs of residentsincluding assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinentcare, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring,ambulation, range of motion, communicating, or other needs in keeping with theindividuals’ care requirements.
4. Provides care that maintains each resident’sskin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage bychanging incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, andapplying moisturizers to fragile skin.
5. Protects the personal belongings of eachresident including eyeglasses, dentures, hearing aids, furnishings, jewelry,clothing, memorabilia, etc.
6. Performs various tasks assigned by the chargenurse including vital signs, residents’ weights, applying creams / ointments,collecting specimens, as well as lifting, moving, and transporting residents,using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention.
7. Responsible for keeping records documenting careprovided or other information in keeping with department policies while performingall job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infectioncontrol procedures including thorough hand washing, use of disposable gloveswhere indicated, and proper disposal of soiled materials.
Education & Experienceyou need to qualify :
- A high school diploma or equivalent. Must holdcurrent Certification in the specific state in which you wish to practice, or,be eligible to obtain certification within four months of employment.
- Basic knowledge and skills utilizing caretracking systems or electronic medical record systems.
- A minimum of three months’ prior nursing assistant experiencein long-term care preferred.
