Industrial Safety Manager
Talento Search Group has an opening for a Safety Manager in the Batavia, Illinois area. This is a direct-hire position.Duties & Responsibilities : Implement safety policies and programs throughout the plant Administration and training of safety procedures Perform incident investigation processes and complete root cause analysis Maintain and update environmental data Organize EHS activities including hearing tests, CPR training, fire extinguisher training, fire systems, etc.
Create, maintain, and update incident communications and EHS communications Manage industrial hygiene process Perform safety audits and follow ups Work with supervisors, managers, and employees to reach zero injury goals Assist in workers compensation case management Train forklift drivers on safe operations Maintain OSHA logs and workers compensation claimsExperience Needed : Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field is preferred At least 5 years of safety implementation in a manufacturing environment OSHA 30 Certification Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong communication skills including presenting trainings to employees Experience operating forklifts About Talento Search Group : Talento Search Group is an executive-search firm servicing manufacturing and logistics companies nationwide.
