The Credit Risk Modeling Intern will support the Credit Risk Model Manager in the development, implementation, and maintenance of credit risk models and strategies.
This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analyzing large datasets, conducting statistical analysis, and contributing to credit risk management.
The intern will assist with monitoring model performance, supporting data management efforts, and collaborating with teams across the bank to ensure the effectiveness of credit risk strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Assist in preparing data for analysis by supporting data cleaning, transformation, and preprocessing tasks.
- Collaborate with the data team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of datasets used in credit risk models.
- Monitor the performance of credit risk models and help identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of credit risk models by performing preliminary data analysis under the guidance of the Credit Risk Model Manager.
- Help create documentation for credit risk models, including tracking assumptions, processes, and outcomes.
- Support the development of reports for internal use and external regulatory bodies.
- Conduct research on industry best practices in credit risk modeling and make recommendations to the team.

Education & Experience
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field with at least one year of college completed.
Systems & Technology
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
